The Inverse Path
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
You must find your way safely to the end portal of each level, while avoiding getting trapped or crushed by an increasing number of falling grey blocks. Use your power of contrast inversion to create new paths in this puzzle-platformer where everything is programmatically crafted, from the graphics to sound and music.
Default Controls (Keybindings can be set in options):
- Arrow keys or WASD to move
- Space to invert colors
- R to restart when game over
- ESC to pause/access menu

Install instructions
Choose the operating system that is appropriate for you, unzip the executable, and give it a go! The game is stateless and creates no files or other baggage on your system. It may take a moment to start up when you run it depending on your operating system; this is because it will procedurally generate the sounds and music at runtime.
